Lily Cole began her modelling career at the age of 14 when she was taken on by the same modelling agency as Kate Moss. By the age of 15 she had appeared on the cover of the Italian (and most prestigious) edition of Vogue magazine. In the same year she was also named Model of the Year. As well as catwalk shows, Lily has appeared in advertising campaigns for, amongst others, Chanel, Christian Lacroix, Top Shop, Accessorize, Marks and Spencer and Anna Sui. Lily's also turned her hand to acting. In 2007 she appeared in the film, St Trinian's as Polly, staring alongside major stars Rupert Everett and Colin Firth. It's estimated that Lily's personal fortune is around £6million.
