Zac comes from California, USA and he started acting when he was just 11-years-old.

His favourite activities are golf, skiing, snow boarding, rock climbing and surfing.

Zac's current girlfriend is his co-star Vanessa Anne Hudgens - they met while making the films. His lives at home with his mum and dad, little brother Dylan, two dogs and a Siamese cat.

Zac plays piano and is leaning to play the guitar, and his favourite cartoon is Rocko's Modern Life.

Zac had to change his phone number after fans got hold of it because his phone didn't stop ringing!

"I'm a guy, but I'm not afraid to cry - not all of the time, but when I'm watching a movie I'll sometimes shed a tear. Especially for Moulin Rouge."
