Avril Lavigne has a great look and if you want to look like a Sk8ter girl, it's an easy style to achieve.

Clothes: Avril's rock-chick look is based around some wardrobe staples, so it won't cost you a fortune. You'll need some skinny black jeans, stripy tops, pumps and ties worn loosely over T-shirts. Try H&M kids for some great ideas. Until recently Avril was rarely seen in a skirt, but now she's grown-up a bit she's realised that you don’t have to dress like a boy to look 'alternative'.To pull off a more feminine version of her look, try a short kilt skirt, or a stripy dress. If you want to add some jewellery, try a crucifix.

Hair and make-up: Long hair works best, wear it loose with a definite centre parting, and keep it straight but slightly messy. Use lots of black eye liner and mascara - it takes a bit of practice, but it's worth it!
