Adrenalin sports: Quad biking
If you want to get more active, but find conventional sports like football and tennis a bit boring, how about trying something more extreme? We've taken a look at the top six adrenalin inducing sports, so that when you're active, you're having the most exciting time possible!
Quad biking
Quad bikes are four-wheeled bikes, especially made for all-terrain riding. They look like a tiny car, and work like a motorbike, but they're very powerful, hard to handle and turn over very easily!
Ozzy Osbourne had a bad accident while quad biking back in 2003. Ozzy ended up on a ventilator (a machine to help him breathe) and broke his collarbone, eight ribs and a vertebra in his neck. He recovered, but he was lucky.
Brad Pitt is also a fan of the sport, and has introduced son Maddox to quad biking too - with the six year-old wearing a safety helmet of course. Lots of outdoor pursuits centres run courses in quad biking, which is a great way to try out the sport. But take it seriously, listen to the safety instructions and don't mess about - it's not worth ending up like Ozzy.
